This material can be refinished several times throughout the duration of its life time. Available in many different species of wood. Solid tongue and groove is 3/4 inch thick and comes in 2 1/4 inch, 3 1/4 inch, 4 inches, 5 inch, or 6-inch width. (most popular is 2 1/4 inches)
Laminate hardwood is a multi-layer synthetic flooring product fused together with a lamination process. Laminate flooring simulates wood with a photographic applique layer under a clear protective layer. The inner core is usually composed of melamine resin and fiberboard.
Prefinished hardwood is also called “factory finished flooring”. The stain and finish are applied during manufacturing. Prefinished flooring is ready to be installed when arrived at your home or job site.
